Day 1. Kharkhorin – Erdene Zuu Monastery
Kharkhorin was the capital of the Mongol Empire under Chinggis Khaan. Erdene Zuu Monastery, built in 1585 on the ruins of the ancient capital, is one of Mongolia's oldest and most important Buddhist monasteries, surrounded by 108 stupas.

Day 2. Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (White Lake)
Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur is a stunning volcanic lake formed when lava from Khorgo volcano blocked the Terkh River. At 2,060 m altitude, the lake is 16 km long and is surrounded by pristine nature and the Khangai range.

Day 3. Khar Nuur (Black Lake)
Khar Nuur, nicknamed the "Pearl of Khangai", is one of the beautiful lakes in the Zavkhan region. The area offers serene landscapes and a chance to experience the remote, untouched nature of western Mongolia.

Day 4. Mukhart
A mysterious landscape where water springs from the sand in the middle of the desert. Located 1,200km west of Ulaanbaatar. The river valley is lush with trees, and you can see a unique natural landscape with semicircular sand formations resembling an amphitheater. Undoubtedly one of the main attractions of Mongolia's vast steppe, the river itself creates a mysterious landscape with water flowing from the sand at the river bottom.

Day 5. Tosontsengel
Tosontsengel is a sum (district) in Zavkhan province, gateway to the region's mountain passes and valleys. The area is known for its traditional herding life and access to the Khangai mountain range.

Day 6. Tsenkher Hot Spring
Tsenkher Hot Spring is a popular natural hot spring located in the Arkhangai Province of central Mongolia. Renowned for its mineral-rich waters and therapeutic properties, Tsenkher Hot Spring is a favorite destination for locals and tourists seeking relaxation and rejuvenation amidst the stunning Mongolian landscape.

Day 7. Elsen Tasarkhai (Mini Gobi)
Elsen Tasarkhai, often called the "Mini Gobi", is a unique combination of sand dunes and green steppe. It offers a taste of the Gobi landscape closer to Ulaanbaatar, with opportunities for camel riding and hiking.

Day 8. Back to Ulaanbaatar
Return to the capital with memories of Zavkhan's remote lakes, rivers, and nomadic culture. Ulaanbaatar is Mongolia's political, economic, and cultural center, with museums, temples, and modern city life.
