Join the Kazakh Eagle Hunters on a hunt during the cold winter months. The Kazakhs use eagles to hunt for foxes and hares that are easy to see against the snow. Freezing temperatures and long days on Mongolian horses discourage most people from attempting this adventure. For those who do, seeing an eagle released from a man’s forearm swoop down and kill a fox a mile away is a truly unforgettable experience.

day 1	Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
day 2	Take a flight to Ulgii (Umnugobi Province) and transfer to the Festival place, located only 45 kms from Ulgii airport. Meet the Kazakh eagle-hunters. The rodeo of eagle-hunting. A fantastic opportunity for photographers and adventurers alike to see these magnificent birds up close. There are approx. 400 eagle-hunters in Bayan-Ulgii aimag.  The eagle-hunters from around regions gather to test their finely trained birds in singular contests of speed and agility in these few days.
day 3	Attend the Eagle Festival
day4	Fly back to Ulaanbaatar
